A supportive space for the parts of life that feel difficult to carry alone.
Sometimes you know exactly what is wrong. Other times, you simply know that something feels off.
You may feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, or stuck in patterns you do not know how to change. Therapy offers space to slow down, better understand what you are experiencing, and begin moving toward meaningful change.
At Joyful Journeys Wellness, therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in real life.
Individual Therapy
You May Be Here Because…
You may be feeling:
Anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly overthinking
Emotionally exhausted or burned out
Disconnected from yourself or unsure of who you are
Stuck in patterns you want to change
Drained from putting everyone else first
Unsure how to set boundaries without guilt
Lost during a major life transition
Burdened by grief or a difficult experience
Worried about your teen and unsure how to help
Like you are functioning on the outside but struggling internally
You do not have to wait until everything falls apart to ask for support.
Who I Work With
Teens
A supportive space for teens navigating anxiety, depression, school stress, friendships, family changes, self-esteem, identity, emotional overwhelm, and the pressure to appear okay.
Therapy can help teens better understand their emotions, strengthen coping skills, improve communication, and feel more confident in who they are becoming.
Young Adults
Young adulthood can bring possibility—and a lot of uncertainty.
Therapy can support concerns related to anxiety, relationships, college or career decisions, identity, boundaries, self-confidence, burnout, comparison, and feeling unsure about what comes next.
Adults
You can be capable and still feel overwhelmed.
Therapy can provide space to work through anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, relationship patterns, parenting stress, life transitions, boundaries, people-pleasing, and feeling disconnected from yourself.
What Therapy With Me Is Like
I believe therapy should feel human.
Our work may include exploring patterns, strengthening coping skills, understanding how past experiences affect the present, improving boundaries and communication, building self-awareness, and creating realistic steps toward meaningful change.
My approach may draw from person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral strategies, mindfulness-informed practices, trauma-informed care, and other evidence-informed approaches based on your individual needs.
There is room here for difficult conversations, uncertainty, honesty, humor, and moments when you simply do not know what to say.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
Reaching out for therapy can feel uncomfortable, especially if you are used to handling things on your own.
